Hi Growthyfai Community 👋
I wanted to share something I recently built using n8n — a fully automated weekly client reporting system.
Instead of manually preparing and sending progress updates every week, I’ve automated the entire flow :
• Data collection (from excel sheet but it can be completely customized to the CRM/Database being used)
• Formatting the weekly summary
• Structuring insights
• Automatically emailing the client
• Scheduled trigger – zero manual interventionThe goal was simple: eliminate repetitive reporting work and create a clean, consistent client communication system.
I’ve attached a short walkthrough video showing how the automation works end-to-end.
Fair disclaimer — the recording quality and delivery may not be perfect yet 😊
I’ve just started recording myself more intentionally to better explain and “sell” what I build. Still learning that part. But the automation itself is solid and practical.n8n is such a powerful tool when used strategically for client workflows — especially for agencies, consultants, and AI builders who want leverage without increasing manual effort.
Would love feedback from the community.
Also happy to break down the workflow structure if anyone’s interested.2:34

Hi Mahesh Ji @eximindia , As we discussed last time, we cannot sell n8n as service (i.e. we cannot create automation in our account and then provide that as a service to the clients unless you have premium subscription tier), the best and safest option is creating automation in their own n8n account which I usually do. Hope this helps! happy to clarify more.

Thank you @Ritu ji,
Happy to guide.
If you’re starting with n8n, I’d suggest first identifying one repetitive task you’re currently doing manually — something weekly or daily. That’s usually the best entry point for automation.
But, If you share what kind of workflow you’re trying to automate, I can suggest a simple starting structure for you.
Happy to help!!1
