Sap marey aur laathi bhi naa tute
Detailed Description
This is a light, funny story about two neighbours who live in the same street. Their sons are 11–12 years old and are good friends. But their mothers are completely opposite in nature.
One neighbour is loud and always ready to fight. She complains:
“Your son has spoiled my child! From today, my boy will not play with him!”
The other neighbour stays calm and replies politely:
“Oh sister, no problem… I will scold my son right now. He should never trouble such a ‘good’ boy again. Never!”
The fighting neighbour walks away smiling… but suddenly thinks:
“Wait… was she praising my son or teasing me?”
And just like that, the argument ended without any shouting. The message was given, the humour was delivered.
This story shows the classic saying:
“Kill the snake without breaking the stick” — a wise way to avoid conflict while still making your point.
